How It Works

A quick guide on how to use this website.

You are free to browse the members or groups of this site but you must become a member to follow, join a group or contact any member.

Once you join you will be able to post your profile, comment in the activity section, post photos or videos, post information about an upcoming event and more.

As a member you have complete control of your profile. Control includes:

  • Editing your name and email address
  • Changing your password
  • Editing profile privacy conditions
  • Editing what notifications you receive
  • Editing what web activity notifications you receive
  • Editing what photos you have in your profile
  • Deleting your account

As a member you can, in addition to posting your profile, follow and friend any other member and contact them with questions about their venue, entertainment options or food truck details.

If you are a Venue:

Your profile should include a description of your venue, images, location, types of entertainment sought (food trucks, bands, etc.), size of space available for entertainment and anything else needed to attract the entertainment you are searching for.

When you post an event you should include:

  • Date
  • Time frame
  • Style of music or food sought
  • Fee arrangement
  • Any other requirements you feel are necessary

When you, as a venue, post an event, you will then browse the food trucks, entertainment and pop up chefs profiles and groups to see which ones are a good fit for you r event. You can then email them to see if they are available.

If you are a food vender or pop up chef your profile should include:

  • Text about your service
  • What type of food you prepare
  • Images of your food truck
  • Videos of your operation if you have them
  • Space requirements
  • Any other important requirements
  • Region by county where you can participate

If you are an entertainer your profile should include:

  • Text about your entertainment
  • What type of music you play
  • Images of your band
  • Videos of your band if you have them
  • Space requirements
  • Any other important requirements
  • Region by county where you can participate

How to get noticed to get gigs.

Since we have many members and are growing fast, you will need to get to the top of the member’s list to get noticed. Our list is based on the amount of followers you have, if you have added a header image and if you have added a profile image. Obviously the best way to be at the top of the list is to get many followers so begin contacting other members to follow them and get them to follow you.

Food trucks and entertainment can contact venues to let the venue know that they are available for future events.

Members can post Youtube or Vimeo videos on their profile by copying the link and pasting it into a comments section.

Post header image, profile photo and photo and video galleries

Posting header, profile and gallery and video images will increase your chances of getting noticed and also help describe your venue, entertinment or food truck. Members can post photos on their profile by clicking on the My Account link, then clicking on the View Profile link. Click on the Photo link. You can create a new album or edit an existing album by clicking on the +New Album  button or edit an existing album by clicking on an existing album, then clicking on the system icon on the right to upload a new photo or delete existing photos.

Members can rate another member by awarding them with stars and comments.
